Franklin is a Charming Blend of History and Progress

culture, history, national register of historic places, progress,

No doubt about it, Franklin is a charming blend of history and progress with its small-town charm and big-city sophistication. And there’s no better place to experience it all than Historic Downtown Franklin, which has become a hot spot for shopping and dining.

Several annual festivals are also centered on Main Street, including the Main Street Festival in the spring, Pumpkinfest in October and Dickens of a Christmas in December.

The entire15-block downtown area is on the National Register of Historic Places, proving that the old and the new can indeed be successful companions.
