Williamson County's Regional Mall Is CoolSprings Galleria
The only mall in Middle Tennessee with five department stores is a huge success story.
Just ask the 13 million people who shop there each year.
CoolSprings Galleria, owned by CBL & Associates Properties of Chattanooga, is a 1.1 million-square-foot super regional center that attracts shoppers from as far away as northern Alabama and southern Kentucky.
Located off I-65 at Moores Lane, the mall's five anchor stores are Dillard’s‚ JC Penney‚ Macy’s‚ Sears and Belk.
Besides these department stores‚ the Galleria also has 165 specialty stores and 25 restaurants on site, including an in-mall Oasis Food Court.
Many of the specialty stores are the only ones of their kind in the Middle Tennessee market. Some of those stores include Bandolino‚ Bombay Kids‚ “346” Brooks Brothers‚ Hollister Co. and Jessica McClintock.
With $400 million in annual sales‚ the mall contributes quite a significant amount of sales tax revenue to Williamson County.
The mall's upper level is carpeted to increase walking comfort and decrease noise, and boasts a spacious food court with a variety of restaurants and seating for 500. The lower level has wood flooring and tile.
Another convenience to shoppers is a double elevator that can easily accommodate strollers and wheelchairs. Several restrooms, including a family restroom, are placed strategically around the mall, and cushioned seating is available for those wanting to take a quick break.
Outside the mall, 6‚500 parking spaces make access to the mall's great shops and restaurants easy. And adjoining the property on the north side is Cool Springs Crossing, owned by the same company, which features stores such as Target‚ Toys R Us and Wild Oats.
